How can one not make a bag with one's same name? And I absolutely love it. I hate sewing with heavy interfacing (bent pins, broken needles...), but love the end result. This bag has such great shape! The pattern is Amy Butler's Kimberly Bag. I used the leftover fabric from Maari's rocking chair. I love the length - very modern and, even given that nasty interfacing, it was fairly quick and easy to put together.It was nice to make, or should I say actually finish, something for myself. The sewing around here has definitely centered around baby for the past year. This was a breath of fresh air.
